More Baby Boomers Patronize Warehouse Clubs

Thirty-five percent of baby boomers make four or more shopping trips a week, up from 22% in 2002, according to WSL Strategic Retail, Inc., New York in the “How America Shops 2004” study of 800 consumers. The research firm said people of all races, income levels and ages now frequent the same outlets, such as warehouse clubs, supercenters and specialty stores.
